Im nearing completion of my subframe overhaul. Ive got the rear control arm bushing set installed, differential carrier bushings, and im in the midst of installing the subframe bushings today. I have the top bushing pressed in, however, it does not go all the way down, there is maybe 1/4 inch gap from the bottom of the outer metal shell, to the bottom of the bushing. Is this normal? The rubber was removed, the bushing is down as far as it will go.
